Did SRK personally tell you that they opted for surrogacy because they wanted their own blood in the baby? How on Earth do you even know that is indeed the reason, how are you so sure about such a personal decision of theirs? There could be a billion other reasons!! And as DejaVu cleared, do you have any idea how complicated adopting a baby is? That too for a celebrity? There are age, religion, suitability etc. related requirements- for all we know they must have tried for adoption and not have been able to fulfill one or more of the requirements??? None of us know anything so it's only fair to at least give him and the baby a break now...not just you but everyone giving the adoption rant. Adoption is NOT an easy process. If you're so much in favour of adoption then please go ahead and adopt a bunch of kids and help them, no one would stop you but it'd be great if we could all stop accusing or looking down on people who opt for other methods...especially when we can only assume reasons and not know anything for sure. It's their personal decision, we should leave them alone for once.

Congrats to SRK and Gauri! So happy for them, and the name is so cute, I like unique names :) I hope the baby is safe and healthy now! And the media and some of the people should really give them their much deserved privacy and space.

I pity SRK, he has got to be the most scrutinized celebrity in BW!! Not just his work and media statements but his personal life too is discussed at length and dissed ...

This is such a happy news and it is plain sad to see ppl commenting on the ways he adopted to have HIS baby and the naming of HIS baby 😕 . He and Gauri decide their personal life, public has nothing to do with it! I wonder if ppl commenting on adoption would really adopt if they could have a baby through other means ... I never saw or read something on this terms where a father had to release such a statement about his baby. Considering the baby and family had to go thru hardships its plain inhumane to have faced media , legal charges and constant comments from fans!!

Hope new baby brings the much required peace and happiness on personal front in SRK-Gauri's life !
