wow i never thought about this thing. yes there is a possibility strong possibility...

here are the points which can make this thought a realisitic approach.

*celebs fear to speak against him

*he takes open digs at them on twitter but either they reply him softly but don't reply at all

*media mocks most of the actors and actresses but i never found even one article against him which can led to his image shattering like media does with others.

these things does prove in the direction that he has definite wrong connections. and with him, the D world might be making a comeback.
