Lootera again, ladies. Pity I'll be watching it with few girls this time. So I can't shed tears with them around. 😡

one thing I noticed when I watched the movie for the second time is Ranveer din't want to escape,he wanted to die coz first singh kept his hand on the hawaldar's shoulder instructing him not to shoot but then ranveer took out his gun and that's when he was shot ...

He went thru too much...he had lived a criminal life,

his uncle for whom he gave up the love of his life,

was in police custody, he lived with the guilt of

betraying his love, he had KILLED albeit by accident,

his best friend,maybe his ONLY friend, he got to

know Pakhis grandfather died of shock, (obviously

because of what all Varun did).

And for a free birdlike himself, jail and phaansi

awaited if he got caught. so he kind of committed

suicide. That Paakhi forgave him and still loved

him was enough for him. He wanted no more.

For Paakhi too, she saw the grey in his actions

where before all she saw was black. She saw he

didnt just up and leave her, he went thru his own

heartbreak doing so. And he still cared. Bas, for the

love lorn but strong Paakhi I think that was enough for her

to want to go on living. The thought that he painted a leaf

for her which would never fall,that HE wanted her to go

on living. Thats why the ending isnt all gloom and doom.

In all the stark ugliness of cruel fate putting people thru

the emotional wringer, in the last reel, they show LOVE

triumphs, even death cannot take that away.

Sonakshi emoted d last scene really well...wen she sees dat Varun made leaf...d whole flashback thing and her smile...awww...it was beautiful...😭

One more scene wen Varun doesnt come for painting class...and she goes to him and asks acha...Kal to aenge na aaap...parso...tarso...she was brillliant in dat scene...behtar hoga ap mar jaie....😆
