Honestly, its kinda sad that Dharma feels that Kareena-Hrihtik pairing isn't enough of a draw to create hype and ever since Kareena's name was first mentioned, they have been trying very hard to throw other names in there to create more interest. ..even giving out articles like Saif doesn't want Kareena in it..as if they're desperate for someone other than Kareena in the film now..

Yet the Dharma and Ranbir were still desperate enough to say things like I was about to get married to Deepika before and many of the publicity articles that the film's PR released. I recall being really annoyed with YJHD promotional articles. The film already had the hype..yet the dharma ppl were not confident enough. Does that mean they couldn't trust in Ranbir's stardom too?

It's not about who is a bigger name..Dharma are desperate for publicity in every one of their films whether its YJHD or Shuddhi or Agneepath..it's not that they don't have confidence with the stars... they don't have confidence in their own films..hence they do this much publicity.

More the hype, more the publicity for the film.. I think everyone in the forum knows that movie called shuddhi is coming before even the shooting started..

Its not only Dharma but even Kareena has used Aishwarya's name several times for publicity, especially during the whole Heroine debacle. Glad that movie flopped.
