Smoking weed is no longer a taboo. Most people I know have done it in college. Everyone pretty much does it. I'm not surprised at all by his admission. Now if he'd admitted to being caught buying coccaine and some rich builder coming to his rescue couple of years ago, I'd say "woah".

Oh fuzz, so he uses pot, a recreational drug that's not even addictive. Big deal! I'm sure a lot of other actors are into harder stuff, but will never admit. At least this one has the guts to admit it. This is the first time I'm seeing an interesting side to his one dimensional off-screen personality.

Just because someone is "admitting" something, doesn't make it right. Yeah, you might need to be gutsy to come out and say you smoke pot. But the way Ranbir Kapoor's fan are celebrating this...is not needed and kind of pathetic.

Smoking pot is still injurious to health, your still "smoking" something and inhaling it, if it was healthy why would it be illegal?

Yeah I know, everyone "does it" and its used heavily around the world, but everyone does a lot of things, that doesn't make it right.

Ranbir, as an actor has a lot of social responsibility, especially being a so-called "youth icon". Statements like these are uncalled for and unnecessary, even if he does it, there is NO NEED to make it public knowledge. You don't want to admit your relationship with Katrina, but you no problem coming out and saying you smoke pot. What happened to keeping your personal life out of the public eye?
