She used to be very loved, more loved than Kareena post-Kaho Na Pyaar Hai and Gadar, but then she went Bhatt and never came back.

There's nothing appealing about her anymore.

I don't think it's fair to say that b/c she didn't enter BW or the acting field as a representative of the Gujju community. I'm Gujju too, but she's not a spokeswoman for us. 😆 Her achievements don't glorfiy the community nor do her faults bring shame b/c she never went out there bragging about or highlighting her gujju-ness.

In the same way that Kareena doesn't represent Punjabis, SRK doesn't represent Muslims, and Asin doesn't represent south indians.

I agree with you to an extent, but I made that Gujju comment because in the article it said how she's made a name in the Gujju community and how Gujjus love her. Hence, my statement.

On that note though, I've always wondered why Gujarati people never made it that big in the industry minus a few.
