Yay!Another SRK interview, I love reading them, finally we're getting some 😆

Loved this one, and the last bit...awww, I feel like giving him a tight hug 🤗 He's very insightful, reminds me of the picture YKM posted a while back, goes with this completely. And it's actually sad reading all this, he needs to cheer up and enjoy life, it's the only one we get!

what's with this idea of chewing and mixing both english and hindi words. awful and weird at the same time. either give the interview in english or go full on bindass mode and give it in shudh hindu like rakhi sawant

This poor man seems to be so depressed. First he claimed he'd lost sight of his own true self in light of all the characters he's played. Now he says he's lost the ability to feel.

He sounds trapped in his life, and I guess he is, but it's true. His stardom is the most important thing to him and everything else must take a back seat in order for him to maintain it.

It just doesn't seem to be making him happy for f@$k all.

You took risks with Don 2 and Ra.One, but do you think your fans would rather see you in something like a Chennai Express?

You know, 50 per cent of the directors who do different films come to me and say, now we want to make a commercial film with you. That's why I don't end up working with them. Because if I want to do a commercial film, I'll do it with a commercial director.😆 Tum alag banana chaho, toh banao' take a chance. My theory is that make one film and put everything in it and wait. That is more gutsy' as an actor, as a producer. Khuda na khasta agar theek nahin huyee, toh it's like abhi agli banani hai. Of course, dus baatein sunni padti hai' time khatam ho gaya, yeh hua, woh hua. You need to resist that and move on.

I agree. While the last bit was very insightful, it made me feel sorry for him. His stardom forces him to live a "larger than life" life. Plus, he's not media shy like most other actors (Aamir, for example) who fiercely guard their privacy. Sometimes, I feel like they have a better personal life. SRK has made his mark in Bollywood by being the most forthcoming, friendly and approachable star. So he has to maintain it, no matter how many times he feels like hiding behind the shells.

I think, the fact that his personal life is up for a toss is making him sound like this. I think it has a lot to do with his equation with Gauri-- this has been the most important relationship to him since his parents-- a person breaks to an extent if something goes wrong with it.

I feel sorry for the man, stardom doesn't come with a guidebook. It's true what they say, "It's lonely at the top."

^That's such a silly generalisation. I see more of non srk fans writing what you call "long essays" and it doesn't even depend on who's fan you are...we've gotta be really naive to make that assumption. 😆 In case you didn't know, every person has their own personality traits, no superstar can influence that, just sayin'

Loved the interview, he souds very depressed. Ouch.
