BOI:YJHD Set To Be 2nd Biggest Grosser E

Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani is set to emerge the second biggest grosser ever of Hindi cinema looking at its second week trends. The film is all set to cross the business of Ek The Tiger and finish around the 190 crore nett mark.

The way the film is going it will cross 150 crore nett in two weeks and will show a 55% drop in week two. This trend is likely to be easily repeated again next week as Fukhrey is no Yamla Pagla Deewana 2 so there will not be that second Friday fall that Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani saw this week.

Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani will be at 172-173 crore nett after three weeks at a minimum and should then go past the 186 crore nett total of Ek Tha Tiger.

The third week is very important in terms of where the film goes, if it holds stronger than this week due to the weaker competition then even a challenge of Three Idiots record figure of 200 crore nett is not ruled out. A 45% drop in week three will take the film very close to 180 crore nett in three weeks and then it will have very good chances of crossing 200 crore nett.
