she had been through a lot in her life already. she felt a new ray of hope when her film career started. but it never took off the way she wanted and expected it. her talent being ignored, rejection from everywhere, nothing going for her. so i think, when she met this guy n he showed interest in her (may be, initially) she got very serious about him. n hence bore with all his nonsense. i wish she would have realized, he is not worth it n there is so much more to life. may be she wanted to run away from everything negative in her life n start fresh with him. he was just not interested. n she herself had some non reasonable demands as well, she expected to get engaged to him within a yr after they started going out?

edit -- i dont see him responsible for her suicide.

although I deeply feel for her and her family. I cannot see the guy responsible for the path she chose. It seems from the letter that she loved him way more than he "loved" her.

Her letter shows that she invested a lot into the relationship and expected the same from him and when he didn't respond the same way, she gave up.

looks like her childhood was very disturbing going thru rape and abuses and she found solace in this suraj guy and wanted to hang on to him but he cldn't commit the same way.

its very sad to lose her life for a guy

This is sad but i think suraj is nt responsible for her ...:...her family should have supported her and in this letter it is clearly written she knew it that he was cheating but still she didn't broke with him so somewhere jiah herself is responsible for her death...RIP jiah and i hope no one ever have to suffer like u

It indeed is very sad what happened to her. She seems dead from within already, when she wrote this letter.

Suraj is douchebag for what he did to her...he drove her to this point of committing suicide...he didnt do the actual act of killing here ...so, sadly he wont get punished for it.

Jiah loved him more than her herself and that is where she made a mistake.

By killing herself, she just made the path easy for this guy. But by living and putting everything out in the open about what he did to her, would have been a more gruelling punishment for him...but this is me talking. Jiah is a different person..sadly, she didnt think like this and killed herself.

I knwo for sure that Jiah/Nafisa Khan will soon be forgotten in few years or may be even months. this story is gonna get old and will be buried. each of us will forget what happened to this poor girl.

I agree. He is a total douchebag but he is not responsible for her death. She lost herself in this relationship. She should have walked when she found out he was cheating on her. Instead she hung around and waited for him to change.

This is so upsetting it breaks my heart to read this. That poor girl was a victim. The abortion, the insecurity, the trust she had in him - its so depressing to know what douches exist in this world. I hope her soul will be peaceful now. She truly was beautiful.
