Nice interview. Dhanush is humble, sweet, and simple. Hope Raanjhanaa works for him.

But the answer about his first love being the only genuine love of his life could have been worded much better.

What do you feel about the idea of fans creating temples of their favourite stars in the South?
It is absolutely wrong and it should not happen. It is a waste of money and life. It also disrespects the energy of God.

Dhanush was trashed by the Tamil media when his first movie " thulluvadho ilamai " was released !

The movie was an adult movie about school going adolescents, abuse, drugs and sex. Very bold movie for Tamil cinema 12 yrs back !

It did very good and songs were an instant hit ! But nobody knew dhanush even then !

Then came "kadal kondein " and like he said he was a star !

Dhanush s dad is a good director known for his village oriented movies, why he directed thulluvadho ilamai is still a mystery to me.

He was the trendsetter for all the bad- looking-good-actors in Tamil ! A lot of people were able to connect to him becos of his next door guy looks

He is such a kind hearted soul...I feel he is too sweet and innocent for bollywood...where success comes only through manipulation

But I wish him all the best and hope he does more bollywood movies 😳 😃
