Banarasiya means someone from Banaras basically. Indirectly implies Krishna.

How sweet is this song!? I loved it! Simple and effective, technique that works best for Rehman!

but what does "Rasiya" actually mean? I googled and it referred to the love between Radha-Krishna but isn't there a song "Rasiya" in Kurbaan? O rasiyaaa...wala song..

"Raas" means celebration of love when translated into emotion. "Rasiya" means someone who is a participant in that celebration of love; although usually it refers to the man. But in this song, "Bana" and "Rasiya" are not two different words. "Banarasiya" simply means a person from Banaras but in the context of the song it may refer to Krishna.

First it looked like stalking by Dhanush,Now it looks like Sonam is using Dhanush till she starts liking a better looking person. Ich!! I hate these kind of story line.

Yeah well I did know the meaning in context of the song but wanted to know the tod phod wali meaning...thanks for explaining UNP (Neetz, right?)
