More interesting stuff! A few weeks ago, we had reported in this column that Salman Khan would not have a release this year as his next film Mental will release only in January 2014. However, there were rumours recently that Khan might release the film in November this year. We want to state for the record that this is nothing but idle talk and Mental will release on January 24, 2014, as planned.

Incidentally, Hasee Toh Phasee featuring Sidharth Malhotra in the lead is scheduled to release on January 24, 2014. The film is being produced by Anurag Kashyap and Karan Johar.

Interestingly, producer Vipul A Shah was also toying with releasing one of his next films, Bahadur featuring Akshay Kumar in the lead, on January 24, 2014.

More interestingly, if Salman Khan's Mental is a remake of AR Murugadoss' Tamil film, Akshay Kumar's Bahadur is also a remake of a Murugadoss' Tamil film.
