why models dont make good actors?

All the male models like John,Arjun and Milind arent considered good actors . They are good looking though
Females are better on that front
Anushka,Deepika and Katrina etc.though not amazing actors are good enogh

Why do u think this happens?

This is abt models not peagent winners Aish,Priyanka etc.

In my opinion, modeling is a completely different profession than acting. Although there are certain similarities, the two differ vastly. Just because you're an amazing model, that doesn't mean you will excel at acting and the same is true vise versa.

i dont think it has 2 do with modelling...or not modelling..its 2 do with the person..how intense u r..and how much u hv gone inside the characters head...modeeliing is the lat thing that can help u in acting...

Arjun..John r very much limted with their expressions..and r more concerned about how ur looking on screen...with evry single dialouge u say...or whhatver thy do..PC..Anu..r more natural..and real..also its wrong 2 stereotype..i think ppl have this perception tht just coz u hv been a model means u cant act..or just coz u look good means u cant act...which is very lame..look at Imran Khan..h iant a model..but he is so stiff that u only see Imran in evevry frame..not the character..

One possible explanation with the females and expression. Indian dance (as well as singing) put a strong emphasis on expressions. If the females even had a basic dance class or training as they've grown up, they would have had some experience with expressions.
