Sid to shoot one film at a time like Aamir

Sidharth Malhotra to finish shooting for romantic comedy before starting action film

Aamir Khan has a wellknown rule of thumb — the actor works on only one film at a time. Now, for reasons of his own, newcomer Sidharth Malhotra seems to be following in the superstar's footsteps.

Sidharth is currently shooting for a romantic comedy, Hasee Toh Phasee (HTP), with Parineeti Chopra. The film is co-produced by Karan Johar. And the young actor has also already been signed by Balaji Motion Pictures for Mohit Suri's next, an action film tentatively titled The Villain.

Now, since Sidharth's look is going to be completely different in Mohit's film, he has decided to wrap one film up before starting the next.

"Sidharth will be seen in a rugged look in Mohit's film, which is very different from his boy-next-door avatar in HTP. So he has decided that he will wrap up Karan's (Johar) film first, so that he doesn't have to keep changing his looks all the time," says an industry insider.

Later, once Mohit's filmkicks off, Sidharth will shoot exclusively for that film. "He might fit in a couple of songs for HTP later, but otherwise, he will only focus on Mohit's film. He has already informed the filmmakers about the same and they have agreed," adds the insider.
