Saif Ali Khan's next in Los Angeles
Saif Ali Khan's next with director duo Krishna DK and Raj Nidimoru has been tentatively titled Happy Ending. The shooting will commence in July with the first schedule to take off in Los Angeles.
Talking about striking a second deal with Khan, Krishna DK says, "Raj and I had a subject and while we shot Go Goa Gone, we had pitched the idea to Saif. But since he was busy with other projects, he did not respond. It was during the post-production of Go Goa Gone, when Saif was free and considering new projects, we pitched the idea once again, and this time he greenlighted our project."
While Khan is finalised as the lead, the team plans to sign Ileana D'Cruz as the female lead. According to DK, the film is an anti-rom-com. "It's a satire on romantic comedies and takes a dig at the genre itself." The film will be produced by Illuminati Films.
Meanwhile, after the successful first of its kind zom-com, Go Goa Gone, should we be expecting a sequel, "We haven't discussed a sequel as yet, but yes the film has a scope of turning into a franchise."
