Breaking News: Chitrangada files for divorce

It's been long since gossip aisles are crowded with the buzz pertaining to an ongoing marital discord between B-town's yummy-mummy, Chitrangada and her golfer hubby, Jyoti Randhawa. And now if the recent buzz pertaining to this celebrity couple is to be believed, then finally duo have now filed for a mutual divorce on Friday.

Reports further suggests that, Chitrangada and Jyoti were advised by the court to reconsider their decision of parting their ways, but the couple seems to be quite firm on their stance.

Chitrangada and Jyoti have been married for almost 12 years and has a son too, but their companionship hit a bad phase in the recent past.


So far, Chitrangada and Jyoti are tight lipped about entire issue and appeared before court with their close kins and their respective lawyers and preferred to keep this entire proceeding a low key affair in order to prevent the emergence of any kind of media hype around it.

Chitrangada got married to ace golfer in 2001, when she was was a model and was trying her luck to make it big in the showbiz. Soon after her marriage, Chitrangada made it to celluloid with Sudhir Mishra's 2003 release "Hazaron Khwahishein Aisi", but continued to be just another name of Bollywood.

Post "Hazaron Khawahishein Aisi" she took a small break from films to devote some attention towards her family, and later on returned with Onir's Rom-com movie "Sorry Bhai!" which thoroughly failed in making any dent on BO.


Subsequently Chitrangada again made a comeback after a hiatus of almost three years, with Sudhir Mishra's "Yeh Saali Zindagi". And reportedly, from there trouble started brewing between this gorgeous dame and Jyoti, as the latter didn't like her being linked with other men, especially film-maker Sudhir Mishra.

Although reports about Chitrangada's strained relationship with her husband kept on popping in the gossip aisles, time and time again, but every time this sizzling mommy brushed aside all rumors, and always maintained that she shares a very cordial relationship with her golfer hubby.


But the Pandora's box opened just a few months back, when Chitrangda moved out of her Noida house for good, but against her husbands wish. If reports from the sources are to be believed then in the recent past things have so worsened between the duo that, the actress is not even allowed to meet her son on a regular basis.

Umm. Poor kid. I have heard she isn't interested in taking care of her son and more interested in showbiz. Whatever its her life. If she wants to be with Sudhir Mishra or throw herself at Salman,hope she doesn't get burned again.
