Now that your film Aashiqui 2 is a hit. Would you like to continue with more romantic films?I have not really thought about it. Actually I don't want to plan anything. I would rather prefer to go with the flow. Aashiqui 2happened when I was not thinking of doing a romantic film. And that worked. And if I make a plan and that doesn't work then it's disappointing.So has success changed you?Well, we change irrespective of anything. Whether it's success or failure, I am bound to change. But I would rather prefer to change with success than failure. I would like to succeed in films I do and other choices I make in my life. But it's a great phase, I am happy about the way things have panned out for me and I am enjoying it.So you are open to all kinds of roles. Does that mean you will not mind doing experimental cinema?Not as of now. I am still new in the trade. I would want to become an established name first before I jump off to do something off the track. Many commercially successful actors have done experimental films but those films have also gone on to become mainstream hits because of their presence. I feel it is important to first prove your talent and make a name of yourself before you do something totally out of the box.The promos of your upcoming next Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani (YJHD) are looking great. But you are not seen much in them.That's how the film was always supposed to be. I signed YJHD before I signed Aashiqui 2 and I was aware of what my role was. And that's what comes out in the promos. Mine is a supporting role, so you can't suddenly insert two people in between (Aditya is paired with Kalki Koechlin) just because they are there. It will send out wrong signals about the film.So you don't mind having little screen space even though your lead role has been appreciated by the audience?It's not about the lead role or the number of minutes I am visible on screen. It's about what the role demands. And I don't want to get that in my head that I am a successful actor and so I should be given more space. It will happen as and when I do more films. I am in no hurry. But having said that, I would not mind experimenting if I find a great script.
