Kareena and Abhishek to get together
The duo hasn't starred opposite each other since Abhishek's split with sis Karisma

If this actually happens, it will probably be the biggest coup pulled off by any film maker. Rumours abound that film maker Mani Ratnam's next film will star Kareena Kapoor and Abhishek Bachchan along with Aamir Khan. Abhishek and Kareena sizzled the screen with their debut film Refugee, made by JP Dutta. However, they never acted opposite each other after that. Abhishek was seeing elder sister Karisma and they were engaged too. However when Abhishek and Karisma split, his professional equation with Kareena also ended. Now, if things fall into place, they may act together soon. When contacted Mani Ratnam's brother said, Mani was location-hunting in the interiors of Chennai and was not available for comment. He added, "Yes, Aamir and Kareena are being finalised. And as for Abhishek, I am not aware of any such developments. Yes, we have approached Abhishek for a different project with Mani." Incidentally, this is Kareena's second movie with Mani after Yuva. This is the first time she will be be acting with Aamir, who has in the past expressed a desire to work with Kareena. So, is Abhishek the surprise package of the film?
