After Ayushmann, is it Karan for YRF?

After being signed on for a three-film deal by Vikram Bhatt, TV actor Karan Kundra's run of good fortune in Bollywood continues. Buzz is that production behemoth YRF itself, has taken a keen interest in helping along the young actor's career.

Incidentally, the production house has a team of managers who've been given the responsibility of looking out for and investing in young talent. Industry sources say that Ayushmann Khurana has been one of the young crop of actors to benefit from the attention — so should we assume it is now Karan's turn? And does this mean a YRF project may also be in the offing for Karan? There isn't a clear answer yet to that second question but a source close to YRF admitted that Karan was "in". "YRF is handling young talent and Karan fits the bill perfectly. Right now, there may not be a film in the pipeline, btu that could change," our source added.
Karan is all set to bid adieu to the crime show he anchors on television. "He wants to focus on his career in films. He'll be groomed by YRF and giving TV a break is the most sensible decision," our source said.
