DOTW Contest

Hello friends.....this time I tried to make a more special and interesting DOTW...so thatz why this week I will be holding a DOTW Contest, where the Bolly Forum Members will debate for their favorite movie out of the three listed below.....So lets begin with the 3 movies:

Movie #1~ Dhoom 2

Move #2~ Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna

Movie #3~ Omkaara

Ok so those are the three movie...and now lets get to know some facts for the movies before we start the contest:

Omkaara

~ Adaptation of Shakesphear's Othello

~Genre - Action, Drama and Romance

~Star Cast - Ajay Devgan, Saif Ali Khan, Viveik Oberoi, Kareena Kapoor, Konkana Sen and Bipasha Basu

~Negative Point - Love Making Scene between Ajay and Kareena

Ok so this time rather than the usual me asking question and you guys answering them I was actually thinking about having a real discussion...so before I do further explaining on the discussion...We are going to start out first by giving some ratings....

~*~ For this part of the DOTW I am going to list some things about the movies and you guys have to rate them out of 5....ok so lets begin

Ok so herez where the real contest begins....so itz pretty easy...all you members have to do is pick one movie from the 3 and say how it will score at the box office....whatz different about it that will atract the audience...and how is it better than the other two....you really dont have to follow this exact format...all you have to do is pick your favorite movie and support it and say why its better than the other two...and please dont pick the movie just because itz a Sharukh, Hrithik or and Abhisheik film...

~*~ Ok so the film that I think will score better at the box office compared to the other two is Dhoom 2. The reason why I think that is because everything is new about this movies such as:
~First bollywood film to be shot in Brazil
~First film that you can see all younger generation stars such as Hrithik, Aish, Abhi, Bips and Uday in one movie
~First time Hrithik playing a villian and Bipz playing a cop
~First time after Krrish that you will be seeing Hrithik doing dangerous stunts that look more realistic
~All in all action film with no rhona-dhona or a boring love story to it
~And after Krrish people are definitly looking forward in seeing Hrithik in this new avtaar as a villian

So these are the reasons why I feel Dhoom 2 is going to be a big blockbuster....compared to the other two

I totally agree with everyone you wrote. But I wouldnt give KANK a 4 out of 5, a 3 most likely. mainly- the extra marital subject is not very attractive. and the srk and rani scene that might be in there is 🤢 i know there is a scene in omkara too but it doesnt involve kareena being entirely topless, and hrithik and aish only kiss in dhoom2 if that is true.

Well definitely I will say KANK well u said dat dun pick up actors like abhi srk jus cuz its der movie but I will why because dey r knwn mostly by all peoples be its kids or be it old peoples and dat is the one advantage which attracts more viewers to watch movie for the sake of them!!dis movie has got all A actors + its karan movie he has neva given flop movies till now!for the first time karan is making movie with such a different story line i hav heard things like lots of ppl hav saying extra material affair story might affect karans movie but I will def say dis movie gonna be successfull common yaar such incident happens in real life my cusz is going through dis and am sure karan has shown all dese troy is different way somehow i feel dat weneva peoples watch dis movie dey will def feel very emotional i really hope dat ending is happy and ya der waz article abt rani n srk love scene it might be rumor who knws before seeing movie how can we say dat der is kissing scene n remember srk said he will neva kiss onscreen and even karans r flim basically made for family wer we actualy can watch wiv our family member!!!this is the first tym dat preity is playing fashion editor which is different n I think no one has done such role so far !!personally think dis movie will be hit cuz of story line not cuz of actors I hav been seeing so many promos songs r gud every1 has done brilliant job , clothes r awesome, choreograph is superb and the location is really gud where as Dhoom 2 n omkara r concered I dun really knw anything abt dese movie nor do I want to see it doesn't seems interesting at all well if i talked abt dhoom it didn't even impresed me at all movie was all abt fighting n stuff but i have 2 admitsongs were really gud and ya the couple in dese movie r weird n so odd

i think dhoom 2 will be mostly watch by teenages and KANK all peoples but i think childrens won't understand itt

KANK will do beter cause its got a realy goood cast n crew n lyk its in NY so dat will b nyc n its got some wiked music da music is jus da best n obvioulsy rani n srk so y wuldnt it do well 😃

I would have to pick KANK! It will definately score the best, number one the cast! Rani, Preity, Abhishek, Shahrukh, Amitabh! These are really talented actors/actresses, put them together in a film and it comes alive!! Not to mention, it is an extra marital film with twists. It is a film most people can relate to, a film that can be watched by all ages. If there is one thing that stands out with Karan Johar films, is the fact that is not aimed at a specific age group, everyone can watch it! Dhoom 2 will be good too, but it will be mainly watched by the youth. Omkara will mostly get critcal acclaim, but not many people will favor the film at the box office.
