Saif Ali Khan confirms Sajid Nadiadwala's film with Kabir Khan

It is official. Saif Ali Khan would be coming together with Kabir Khan for producer Sajid Nadiadwala. While there were murmurs around this for quite some time, the deal has finally been fixed and the countdown has now begun for Kabir Khan to start calling the shots again.

Confirms Saif, "Yes, I would be working with Kabir Khan for Sajid Nadiadwala's next. We should start shooting late this year or early next year."

This would be after Saif is through with the release of Tigmanshu Dhulia's BULLET RAJA. Also, during this time period, it is expected that Sajid Nadiadwala would be himself busy directing Salman Khan for KICK. However for Kabir Khan, it would be some more time to spend on writing and pre-production before he comes back with the call of 'lights, sound, camera, action'.

"It has been almost a year since Kabir went behind the camera," comments an observer, "EK THA TIGER released in Eid last year and after the film went on to register the second highest collections ever for a Hindi film (by dropping short of 3 IDIOTS total of 202 crores by just a whisker), Kabir has been raring to go. Anyways, he now has at least six more months available to himself. What is comforting is that the entire team is in place. Saif, Sajid and Kabir haven't worked together with each other in the past and theirs should be an interesting combination."

One looks forward to the coming together of three mature sensibilities which should bring in a right amalgamation of good content, seasoned performance and effective marketing and promotion, hence resulting in a quality affair.

Amazing choice by Kabir.

Saif is an actor who is a slave to the script so he will do what the script says he won't go the set and destroy the script like kabir faced during ek tha tiger when salman changed the script.

Hopefully this time we will see kabir from new york and kabul express. Can't blame him for ett cause salman interfered a lot.

just wish saif gets the race haircut and beard or the hum tum look back because that hairstyle he has now is bad.

Kabir might be the most overrated director in Indian cinema at the moment.

His films just keep getting worse and worse.

its funny how some ppl just blame salman for ETT when the fact is that if he wasnt part of the movie it wouldnt have even crossed 100 crs

He had a YRF 3 deal contract and that contract is over.

Now he is working with Sajid Nadiwala's production house.

Just because a movie crossed 100 cr. does not mean it's good. It had a bakwas script and was a complete masala movie and the only kabir thing in the movie was the use of locations. can't believe he allowed so much script change by salman. basically salman erased the script.

Kabir was never an overrated director, it's just after ett that he is in news for the bad things cause he got this crap 100 cr. tag attached to him.

It was NOT a masala movie ! It didnt have the OTT actions like bodygurad or dabangg and didnt have much indian element at all ! It was more of a love story but i wonder why some ppl claim it as their fav actress's movie and biggest hit when they are so ashamed of it

And here I thought I was the only who found NY and whatever little of ETT I saw to be crap. 😆 Kabul Express was better.

I think people also confuse Kabir with Shimit Amin for some reason...or I have heard of many people, me included, who confused them. 😆 ...and Kabir and Shimit mein zameen aasman ka farak hai.
