John Abraham

Salman Khan

Arrey Bhai, forget it now!

Apparently Salman Khan doesn't want to shoot with John Abraham, although they star in the same film. So director Ravi Chopra is at his wits' end

Apparently director Ravi Chopra is having problems shooting his film Baabul in London. He has shot a major portion of his film at a country house in West Sussex, because of its greenery. But the heat wave is causing problems for the Indian actors there. "It's too hot for us to function here," says Ravi Chopra.

Chopra, incidentally, is facing double trouble. Climactic heat wave apart, the director is facing cold vibes between his two male leads, Salman Khan and John Abraham.

Ever since the Rockstar concert, John and Salman haven't been on the best of terms. So now, when Ravi Chopra is shooting his film in London, he has come up against a new problem. According to our source, "Salman made it clear that he would not like to meet John during the shoot, and he asked Raviji to plan the schedule in a way which would work out best for both actors."

Other actors of Baabul, like Amitabh Bachchan, Hema Malini and Rani Mukherji are also in London. "John went up to Salman and apologised after media wrote about his rift with Salman. But it seems that the matter is not yet solved. Salman is moody person, he might forget and forgive John, but hasn't done so yet," says our source.

Salman being the senior actor, got priority and John was asked to join the unit after Salman's scenes were over. "John left for the Baabul schedule yesterday, and he might bump into Salman for a day or two. Raviji is really tense because he doesn't want to upset either of his stars," says our source.

Ravi has completed most of the scenes with Salman Khan. "He might require Salman for three more days, for some patch- work. Salman, however, is staying at a different hotel and there is little chance that they will meet each other," says our source.

Incidentally, Ravi Chopra in an earlier interview to Mumbai Mirror had said, "I don't require John and Salman together in the film. Salman is extremely professional and even if he has some difference with John, he would not walk out of the film or create trouble for me."

Meanwhile, John has been denying that he has any problems with Salman Khan. But it seems that the situation is not as simple as issuing a denial. Now, we'll have to wait for Ravi Chopra to return from London for more information on the issue.
