yeah i know but t20 is like entertainment so they added cheer leaders not in just IPL but also in icc world t20

Cheerleaders are no needed in IPL. It sometimes becomes embarrassing to watch the matches with family while the cheer girls shaking their boobs and butts !

I say ban them !

err what do they expect. they r only there to shake their boobs and butts so obviously that is what the men will see. if u dont like it, then dont go. this is just hypocrisy and pure stupidity. if u want respect then keep ur clothes on. if u r on display like toys then dont cry if u r played with.

Why does everyone want to ban cheerleaders. I like cheerleaders. Bring it on is one of my favorite movies. In fact I say, at the end of IPL have a cheerleading tournament for best cheerleading team. Every time I see cheerleaders, my eyes are having cheer sex with them.

I don't think there is anything wrong with cheerleading. Also throughout history sports and sex have been interrelated. With so much adrenaline and testosterone flowing, there's bound to be a lot of flirting and sex. Haven't we heard the juicy stories about the Olympic villages. I'm sure football, baseball, basketball – all sports have behind the scenes affairs between players, cheerleaders, etc. It is about time we stopped acting coy and calling it an "ugly truth". It is just what people do. The shy quiet types, the family type folks quietly stay out of it and do their own thing. As long as they perform on field that's all that matters.

Although, how the lay citizen behaves is quite embarrassing. Of course cheerleaders are meant to be eye candy and you're expected to ogle a bit. But there is a balance to it and a line of decency. They are still people who deserve to be treated with respect. You can't just be stripping them with your eyes 24/7. Forget cheerleaders, it is hard for any good looking woman to walk the streets of India without being leered at. If you are western and exotic its even worse. Any woman who shows a dash of skin is treated like living po*n. In most other places, once the game is done, and they change out of their cheerleading outfits they can mingle, walk around and have fun like any other normal girl. Guys still flirt and buy drinks, but there is a sense of decency maintained. And this is the real "ugly truth" about India. Sometimes I think what Indian men really need is a weekend po*nathon where they can jack off years of repressed frustration.

Why do we have cheerleaders in any sport anyways?? I never understood why they stand their in their skimpy clothes ...shaking their pom poms...Cheerleaders should be banned from the sports...
