I am not sure, I assumed so because Ahista Ahista was an episode as well as a movie. So I'm guessing Highway will be the film version of the episode. If so, Randeep is a great fit for the male lead but I can't see Alia living up to Kartika Rane's performance. I don't even know if she can act. Imtiaz has just become a sell out. First Deepika, Nargis, then Alia. Why does he not take someone that can act? Does not have to be an A list actress for crying out loud.

not many families enjoys the dirty kiss in the end which was uncalled for 😛 my mom always skips the part and resumes when mauja hi mauja arrives 😆 the movie is definitely enjoyable but the kiss wasn't it was done in a bad taste just to show how horny the female character was.

I don't know anything about Highway so not sure. What was the TV story about?

I watched SOTY Dex, trust me Alia can't act. She tries to give off a mixed vibe of Kareena from her early days + Sonam...and err...it doesn't work so well. Plus she looks not a day over 15 so it's just weird to see her with her all these actors much older than her.

Imtiaz lost it a while back. I guess it's all about "girl must be pretty" for him..acting doesn't matter. I don't even know what he does with the scripts anymore. They stopped making any sense and became too wannabe.

it happens becoz of success. who was he before JMW. i don't think anyone would have cared abt him. but after the success he became overrated and at these times a pressure of giving a hit is important than giving a good film. this thing can't be ruled. i am sure he himself wants to make good movies. but not everyone is gonna support him. he himself can't be blamed.

Alia is that bad huh? I don't doubt it. They just pick these star kids fresh from school and give them roles without any talent. It is ridiculous and Imtiaz I agree has lost the plot years ago. 🥱

Oh the episode was about the female lead being forcibly sold into prostitution by a pimp. But it wasn't dark, it was a love story. I think I liked it because it was more character and screen play driven so Alia seems like the worst possible choice if that is indeed what this film is about.
