How bad I wish Emraan left this film but as people already said he's too professional to do something like that. Let's hope this film works just for Emraan's sake😃
Lets just get a few things straightened out.
A) Kareena and Karan Johar share all their information. Kareena knows WAY IN ADVANCE who will be working in Johar's films, especially ones she herself is being considered for
B) Kareena was finalized and announced BEFORE Hashmi was announced and she agreed. Chances are, she knew Hashmi was gonna be part of the project. She wouldnt have blindly said yes to a film without even knowing the male lead. And yes, she HAD agreed.
C) She opted out later AFTER Hashmi was announced. So there was a period when both she and Hashmi were finalized together
D) In Struts interview when asked why she let go of recent projects (read film with Hashmi) she admitted that Ram Leela has asked for bulk dates of 150 days so she couldnt do a few films. Its true. Coz even Deepika's dates clashed with Ram Leela. When Ram Leela fell through, she came back on board with Hashmi project.
So no, she never had a problem working with Emran
