 Remember Anu Menon? She recently made her debut as a director with "London Paris New York" and she's all set to start her second film as a director. So far so good. Well, she's been signed by Rangita Nandy and they have titled it "O Womaniya!" The film is about two girlfriends and how they go insane during a journey on which they embark. Doesn't that remind you of the Hollywood flick Thelma & Louise, which released in 1991? A source close to PNC tells us that O Womaniya! Is indeed inspired by Thelma & Louise although the production house has not bought the remaking rights. We're told that Nandy and Menon are toying with casting Priyanka Chopra and Parineeti Chopra to play leading ladies. |
