Script ruined both movies. Without or without Katrina both movies are supposed to be trashy.

BUT SALLU said.. Kat told him to do the role and the film script she heard was good.. after she was called for script reading from Kabir Khan in their promotional interview 😕

i think ETT was her kinda movie..PC would be wasted..

JTHJ needed stronger actress

Can't say about JTHJ as I didn't watch it but NO she did not ruin it for ETT, I liked her in the movie, I mean come on there was no need for acting but she did a good job with the stunt scenes and liked her in the Mashalla Song👏

And I think it was Salman and Kat's movie together after their alleged breakup, so that might have added extra attention from fan's in terms of more collections (although Yuvraj was their first movie after breakup Kat wasn't a big star back then and Salman was going through bad phase)..

well what do we know! we can only know if she was replaced by PC in that movie and collections dropping to 60 crores total

the point remains that why couldnt dabang 2 generate the same collections- i am NOT denying salman's star power at all but come on her presence in ETT definitely contributed something as well!

her presence did contribute but like other salman heroines in last 5 yrs it wasnt much !
the distribution is like this
salman-160 crs
salman+YRF 1st time-10 crs
katrina/mashallah-16 crs

dabangg 2 did underperform a bit and i wont deny it

Both movies were trashy so Katrina being or not being there wouldn't have made a difference.

she was the calm element in JTHJ for me! She made it watchable for me as SRK and ANU constantly hammed. Will never forgive srk as samar and his constant hamming- anushka over acted through out! thank God kat was in it- she balanced it out for me!
ETT- well there is a reason why it crossed so much where as dabang 2 and others couldnt' kat has a star power and it showed other wise no item song, no hit number, no sequel yet it beats dabang 2!
