The talks of how fantastic Akshay Kumar was in Special 26, the constan praise and accolades are warranted. However, it might have been one of his better performances of his career, but compared to other actors it was a decent at best performance. The real show stealer of that movie was Manoj Bajpai. The direction by Neeraj Pandey, script, and the editing were the real main highlights.

Same goes for Bebo in 3 Idiots it was good acting but it was still very short screentime

She didn't get any best actress nod for performance in Kaminey which was unfortunate... She deserved equally as Vidya did!

Another thing everyone, some of the movies mentioned for certain actors and actresses. The performances have to be rated highly in the first place for it to be overrated. You cant say something is overrated just like that. This is not the most average or most mediocre performance by the actor/actress thread.

For people talking about Aamirs Talaash for example, no one really said he was out of the world or anything. That movie was slammed for nothing living up to its expectations.

😊 Even though I loved Aish back in the day, I would say Taal was overrated. The only thing good about that movie was the music and Anil Kapoor. Aish was good, but she was better in HDDCS, Devdas, Guru, Jodhaa Akbar, and even her movies with Ritupharno Ghosh. Also, Rani in Hum Tum. Preity in Veer Zaara. Kareena in Heroine. The list is endless. 😆

she didnt deserve best actress for any of these awards IMO In 94 she should have got it for anjaam or sridevi for laadla In 97 i think kajol for gupt
