Extended family is "aap" for me ...older cousins also, even if we're super close. 😆 When I was very young I used to say "tu and tum" to everyone & then got yelled at by folks...so "aap" it is. Strangers is always "aap" for me too 😆

I use "tum" and "tu" interchangeably mostly with folks my age or younger and folks I'm close to. 😆

Man so many rules. In English it's easier, everyone is you. 😆
