Let me start:

In an old sleepy small town, lived an old jeweller. His once eagle-sharp eyes that had foreseen many a stupendous pattern that his hands had crafted, now drooped low, hazy from cataract. As he stumbled across his room, his hand brushed rudely across a vase on the table, shattering it to pieces. A moth-eaten, brittle sepia photograph popped out from them. It was the picture of a beautiful young woman.
