I think if Arshad cuts his hair and loses some weight he will look a bit younger. Ranbir also will have similar problems as he looks too young to play an older Kishore. Plus I doubt he will sport a belly like Kishore Kumar had from his middle age. Women like Madhubala came into his life in his middle age only and they made an odd pair to everyone during those days and everyone made fun of them. How effective would that pairing be with Ranbir and a hot looking chick like Katrina. It will turn into one of those hawt dramas on TV. Or a KJo film.

@Tani: SPOT ON about Ranbir. However he won't be bad as the younger Kishore. The elder one would best be played by Amir Khan. And Madhubala by Kangana, no two ways about that. She'd be the best bet here with just the right mixture of grace and vulnerability.

W*F Kat as madhubala...it will be an insult to madhubala if Kat does her role...the other choices are also bad but Kat playing it will be utter nonsense...Madhubala ki aatma phir se maar jaayegi if it happens.

If it's a biopic on Kishore Kumar then Madhubala was a small chapter in his life. She got sick and confined to her room till death. So any pretty face would be fine for 5 or 6 shots. The first wife was a famous Bengali singer and has prominence in his life. We can see shades of Abhimaan. Rani Mukherjee would be perfect as Ruma Ghosh.

That is exactly what I said!

Madhubala is one of the greatest Bollywood Actress in history and Kat IS THE worst actress in Indian Film History, this is just not right

hmmm wierd ranbir katrina pairing has been a hit but for a biopic on kishore kumar long shot 😕

i always heard madhubala was too overrated at the time i have no idea havent watched any of here movies
the only black and white movie ive dared to watch is its a wonderful life

hope anurag does justice to the concept though!
