I was listening to DCH album today and suddenly realized we havent heard of this trio for a while now. These days we get to hear mostly about Amit Trivedi. Among the older music directors we hear about are Rehman, Pritam etc.

But where did this trio which was a favorite with A lister directors in BW disappear?

Their last good soundtrack was probably MNIK. They worked a lot with Karan Johar and he seems to have moved on to Amit Trivedi, Vishal-Shekhar, Pritam. Farhan Akhtar has still stuck to them though...I hope they find their mojo back. They were good composers.

Haven't heard any song of theirs after Zindagi Na milegi dobara.

Just checked their discography and their last big film was Don2. That way back in 2011. 😲Even then the music was lackluster. I really miss them as composers.

lately their music is same kind of ... boring ...

Their downfall started when in WUS new comer Amit's one song overshadowed their all other songs

i got the album delhi safari and their music was decent in that film. but as animation film, i doubt how many people actually heard the soundtrack. they would be back soon i guess, but their golden days are over. Vishal Shekhar are mounting quite high.
