Yaar woudl you rather he did "bad things" and continued that.

This way even if he did "commit crimes" atleast he is making up for it. Trying to better himself.

That's what being a human is all about

Maybe it's the language and the fact that she can't emote doesn't help either. 😆😆

I think any celebrity who has an excessive number of fanatics is misunderstood. Fans are good, but when they turn into blind, obsessive, crazy, swarming fanatics who have no life but to defend their celebrity and battle every itty bitty criticism then it spells trouble for the celebrity. They unnecessary put a mortal celebrity on a God like pedestal automatically irritating most sane human beings into being haters and bashers.

Salman for example is just human. Overall I think he's a good guy. Like many other stupid humans out there he does something really stupid like getting drunk and driving, running someone over. It's a horrendous crime to take a life. But there are thousands of ordinary people every year who do so by being stupid ' like drunk driving, doing a dangerous dare, playing with guns etc. That doesn't make them bad people. They are just humans who make mistakes. But they bear the guilt and consequences of it. Unfortunately, since Salman fanatics don't want him to bear the guilt and consequence which is the right of all humans who make mistakes ' matters get worse. Overall I think he is quite charitable and tries to do a lot of good things with sincerity. But as long as he has blind fanatics, his goodness will always be overshadowed by their obsessive need to cover his mistakes.

As Marc Anthony quotes in Shakespeares famous play "The evil that men do lives after them; The good is oft interred with their bones"

Just out of curiosity...do u think that charity can substitute for the legal punishment one should get for doing a wrong deed?? If yes then what message does it send to the society...ek ko maaro...fir sau logon ki sewa karo...hisaab barabar??

I don't think one substitutes for the other, but I will still give props to Sallu for doing all tht he can. Now whether he does it out of guilt or just charity is another story.

Conspiracy theorists will think its a sham to launder money. 😆

I may not like salman but I still think he is misunderstood. His past deeds although is a grave crime but people stopped moving on past that. The best thing about him is he hasn't changed due to the adulation and his highs and lows..Whatever the reason behind his charities, I still think he does it way better than all the other star of India..

Also, there is viveik oberoi who I think is misunderstood and people need to give him a second chance..

I also think Saif Ali Khan is a misunderstood in this forum because every thing he says is scrutinized and taken in a wrong way..People justify every thing their favorites says but once the same thing is said by other stars, it is elaborated and taken in a wrong way...

Charity stands on its own. It doesn't substitute for punishment or compensate for mistakes. It should be appreciated on its own merit.

That being said real public service (actually doing hard work) builds character and teaches valuable lessons. That is why many legal punishments are indeed social services – cleaning the highway, working at soup kitchens and shelters, assisting rural farmers etc.. Many juvenile delinquents or people who commit negligent crimes are sentenced to public service or a combination of prison and public service.
