Jayantabhai Ki Luv Story First Weekend Collection

Jayantabhai Ki Luv Story may have received good reviews from many centers, but its box office performance is extremely poor. It has collected around 2.25 crore nett in its Opening weekend. Film started poorly on Friday with a collection of around 55 lakh nett. It then showed little jump on Saturday and further little jump on Sunday to collect around 2.25 crore nett for the weekend.

JBKLS first week collection will be heading for 3-3.5 crore nett mark and its lifetime collection will wrap up below 5 crore nett mark. Thus, it will be one of the biggest disappointment of 2013 and one of the biggest disappointment for Vivek Oberoi. Makers may recover its investment from other non-theatrical revenue, but its theatrical business is just nothing to boast of. Film business affected badly by wave of other films running such as Special 26, Murder 3, ABCD and Race 2.

Collection Breakup -

Friday - 0.55 cr nett.

Saturday - 0.75 cr nett.

Sunday - 0.95 cr nett.

Total - 2.25 cr nett.

Vivek Oberoi's disastrous run continues as his latest released Jayantabhai Ki Luv Story has tanked at the domestic box office. The film collected Rs 1.65 crores (approx) in it's first weekend.

Made on a modest budget of Rs 6 crores, the romantic comedy also starring Neha Sharma is unlikely to recover even half of it's investment through it's theatrical business.

1st Friday – 0.5 crore
1st Saturday – 0.55 crore
1st Sunday – 0.6 crore
Weekend Total – 1.65 crore

Box Office Verdict – Non-starter / Disaster

Didn't know Vivek was in it.

I really want Vivek to get back in the game with good movies/directors. Sigh and sigh again.

a producer who casts vivek in a solo movie is clearly not in his senses. He is harmful even in multistarers- solo is far out of question- what do they even expect- prince, KLPD (3 crores total) Jayantacrap ki bla bla (1.5 crore total HAHAHA)

its a lesson served to all to not cast this crappiest piece of trash even in multi starers.
