...if the Khans act with newcomers, audience doesn't think the girl is very young? 😕

Out of all the new debuts from last year, Yami is good. She's very beautiful too. Same with Illeana, and I guess Huma too. But they hardly have that many movies on hand =/

Illena is doing movie with that guy from Kaminey oh what's his name??????????????

He has not been relevant in years oh yes Fahid Kapoor. 😆

Yami good bu not that good looking maybe that is draw back. An she is kind of manly lol

Also Huma was a flowerpot in GOW if you ask me. She had no huge impact. IMO

^^^If I remember right only Aditi Rao Hydari has bagged a flowerpot role in an Akki film. Rest are acting with 'upcoming' actors in small projects.

I was wondering the same. I think they are too scared to say that Khans get insecure of a decent actress snatching their limelight. Hence an unknown angel is better than a known devil.

Not anymore..the lessons are learnt..Deepika just said it in her recent interview..so did Anushka Sharma

Chennai express is a two people story acccording to Deepika.,There are no other main characters..It is a love story ..

thats why she won't shine. i want her to act opposite SK only because of her career welbeing cz i don have any wish to see such a pretty girl opposite oldies; Pareeniti seems old compared to Alia Yami and less pretty too. but don know whats speciality in her. just for stable career Yami should make connection to SK but seems she's not so desperate to make connections

So this is what the 40+ superstars do, 'unleash' new talent and leave them after a doing one film🥱 Might aswell just don't cast them at all. But then again they are too insecure to cast people like Vidya, PC, Parineeti etc because of fear of being overshadowed...

So basically we're stuck with seeing new faces with no talent every year and see them fade away after a year.

Anyway, out of the new faces I really liked Yami, Ileana, and Diana.

Yeah but Illeana hasn't signed anything besides the RKS film with Shahid. :S

I think Yami's gorgeous. She used to model for Fair and Lovely for the longest time. Well haven't seen GOW, but surely she must have done something to win BA at FF beating PC, Sridevi :)

Shreya, exactly! I think it's just that. They keep launching newcomers because they're insecure that the female lead will take their spotlight away and because they want "freshness" in the pairings. I guess they get bored of working with the same actress too. Hence move on to someone new.

Yet Deepika and Anushka are both lobbying for Kick. Actresses claim that they have a huge role and then the final result is something else. I think the trick they are following now is flowerpot roles in big films of oldies and important roles with younger stars.
