With music composed by Amit Trivedi and lyrics written by Swanand Kirkire, the Kai Po Chesoundtrack though short, makes quite the impression. Kirkire's simple, yet beautiful, lyrics actually give you a glimpse in to what the film is all about. The sad part is that the album, with just three songs, ends too soon and leaves you craving for more.

Maanja begins with the mellifluous notes of the saarangi, reminding you more of Rajasthan than Gujarat (where the story is set). Trivedi's mesmerising voice with the music is a perfect blend and seems to fit in seamlessly with the picturisation that we see in the trailer.
Subhaaraambh sung by Shruti Pathak and Divya Kumar is a vibrant garba number that seems more in keeping with where they film is set. The vocals gel well with the shehnai anddhol giving it a folkish feel. And given how good it sounds, it easily has the potential to become the most popular song during the next garba season.
