Honestly, I enjoyed his acting in television so I like him as an actor. Obviously has room to get even better in acting, as with experience that will come. There's a lot of competition in BW, plus he has no backing from any godfather or the like.

So, I would like to support him and say yes. Only future will tell how he holds up. Wish him all the very best.

I didn't like him much even as a TV actor. Movies are out of question. Barun Sobti is good looking but comes across as a wooden actor. Voice and dialogue delivery below par. He doesn't come across as a good dancer either. I don't think he has screen presence for silver screen.

Guys like him become popular due to the hackneyed love stories and romantic scenes in TV shows. I do not see him or his counterparts doing any significant work even on TV apart from their faltu romantic dramas.

Lol, what's with all these Barun Sobti topics?

He's average looks wise. Doesn't seem like the best of people. And it's extremely unlikely he'll be successful in BW, he doesn't match up to any of the current newcomers, talent-wise, even a little bit.
