What is considered 'youngistaan'?

Ranbir is definitely the most prominent of the lot. Imran has very little potential at the moment. Ranveer could be very good. Arjun Kapoor will probably be really good, he's only one movie old yet but I have high hopes for him lol. I think Him and Ranbir will be the ones that last.

Abhay Deol is very successful but I'm not sure if he's considered a part of 'youngistaan'?

Ali Zafar is also extremely good. In fact him and Ranbir are my favorites from the young ones. Ali Zafar even has an edge over Ranbir for me, just because I loved Tere Bin Laden so much 😃

So for me Ranbir - clearly the most successful, and the only one you can say for certain will still be around, and doing well in ten years time.

Ali Zafar, acting and charisma wise the only one that matches Ranbir at the moment.

Arjun Kapoor - Huge potential and could become competition for Ranbir

Ranveer - He has potential, but you can't really say anything about him until his forthcoming films are released.

Imran Khan - The weakest of the bunch. I can't see him doing well in anything unless he's co-staring with more successful male actors, or the film is backed by his uncle (like JTYJN, and DB; his only two successful movies other than those were MBKD which was Katrina's film, and he was overshadowed as the male lead by AZ; and EMAET - in which he gave an average performance, and again Kareena overshadowed him).

I don't think Abhay is part of youngistaan group...he is 36, older than Emraan n has a debut in 2005

First of all, if your going to crictize Imran Khan (or anyone else) you should have a valid argument. Its so obvious from post that you dislike him and are trying to discredit his success.
It doesnt matter if his films are "backed" his uncle, that doesnt take away from the success. How come no one says anything when Hrithik works with his father? A movie will always fail if its not a good movie. Thats why Kites failed. and thats why some of Imran Khan's movies have failed. But failure has nothing to do with the star-cast or whose in it.
I hate luv stories was a succesful film, what are you going to say about that? That it was because of Sonam? Or Are you going to say it was "luck"
As for Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, you cannot credit "one person" for the success of an entire movie.
So to me, you just seem bitter 😕 I dont even like Imran Khan but your points are clearly invalid.
He's had some strong successful movies. You cant take that away or try to downplay it.
How is he the weakest in the bunch? He is more successful than every other young actor except Ranbir.

MBKD was success mainly coz of many reasons. Being a typical comedy Rom com with SUPER HIT music. Imran had more to with success of mbkd too coz of success of mbkd Delhi Belly
