But it's funny how prestigious universities are inviting movie stars, of all people, to speak. Preity's spoken at Oxford, Karan Johar at Wharton, Aamir and Anupam Kher at Cambridge...it's too much and it's undeserved! So are those honorary doctorates bestowed even on likes of Shilpa Shetty! These universities might be getting publicity among desis but are losing their credibility and prestige by giving importance to movie stars.

What has Ranbir done? He's just begun to get taken seriously as an actor in last 2 years only (though he debuted in 2007). Why is he invited to address students at Yale?

Keep ignoring real icons and keep putting movie stars even in academic institutions. Let them take over everywhere! No wonder their egos are so damn bloated!
