Dabbang was AMAZING because Chulbul Pandey was fresh and all the contradictions in his life made the movie/his character a brilliant watch. He should have won all the Best Actor awards for Dabbang.

But Dabbang 2 was hopeless and Arbaaz Khan needs to just f**k-off. He destroyed Chulbul Pandey. The whole movie was nothing but, "Bhai ki jai.. Bhai ki jai..."

And, I liked Ek Tha Tiger. I thought it was really good.

Yes, but it seems that the ONLY reason it did well was Salman Khan's star-power, nah?

Look at his movies since Dabbang. Ready was the highest grossing non-holiday movie before RR surpassed it. Bodyguard surpassed Dabbang. ETT surpassed both movies. But Dabbang--despite being a Christmas release--barely managed to get get passed Dabbang. Sure, the opening day wasn't a holiday release, but overall--I just don't see the appreciation for Dabbang 2. The overall image of Dabbang 2 isn't really good and that's worrying since Dabbang started Salmania.

hey dont get personal with members n who are you to say such things to him. Please lets not go there.

Dabangg 2 was not at all comparable to Dabangg. It couldn't even hold a candle to its original IMHO. Music was also not as great as previous film. Prakash Raj's voice being dubbed was a blunder.

Sonakshi has improved as actress.

Film seemed incoherent, made little sense, seemed like trying too hard to repeat magic of the original.

This film and its success belongs only to Salman. No other actor can get audience for such a film and no one else can get such a weak film to collect this much!

For Salman I'd only say he needs to do slightly better films. He doesn't deserve such films like Dabangg 2. Even some of his early 90s and mid-2000s flops had more of content than Dabangg 2.

D2 didn't quite hold my interest. I had to try and concentrate on it. It wasn't an enjoyable watch.

Salman's act and antics are all fine but film shouldn't be as weak either. Maybe if it was a different film then I wouldn't have judged it the way I did. But as a sequel to Dabangg it fell flat and felt disappointing to me.
