I think Ranbir wants to be the 3 Khans rolled into one . I Don't know him personally but that is what I feel . He is choosy like Aamir and Charming like Srk . But he is very average in looks . Sallus department



I see Sid/ranveer Singh as SrK
Vicky donor guy/Imran as Aamir
Varun/arjun kapoor as Salman

Ranbir will be his own man

inspired dosent necessarily mean "copy"..it means motivation too...especially in this context...if i say "mother teresa is an inspirational personality" it means i admire her and she motivates me to do my best...tht dosent mean im going to try n copy whtever she does...even srk says amitabh and dilip kumar are his inspirations...does tht mean hes aping them?

ranbir has set enough benchmarks for himself...even ppl like varun n sid are measured as to if they r the next "ranbir kapoor" or not...(anupama chopra's review for eg)

he is his own self like someone said. even if he was touted as the next big thing, he wasnt touted as the "next srk" or the "next salman"...he remained ranbir throughout...

as for emraan...no comments coz i agree on tht front...

No Rajendra Kumar of yester years was there...The man could not act to save his life...but he gave hits after hits...so much so..that he was called JUBLEE KUMAR...because almost all of his films became HITS...so no Salman is not the only one...once in a while there have been average actors who have become the rage for the country...but Salman does have a lot of screen presence and Karisma unlike Rajendra Kumar and he is a better actor than RK too...

I remember SRK's manner of acting was compared to Dilip Kumar way back when he debuted. And there are - or were - some similarities (stop thinking about Dilip only as tragedy king - the "Ae Bhaaai!" dude - and you will see it)

Anyway, I don't see what's wrong with Ranbir aiming for the top. Why shouldn't actors be ambitious? Let him try. Sooner or later the Khan era will end. Just like Rajesh Khanna lost his position to Big B and Big B's dominance ended as the era of the Khans, Govinda, Akshay, etc began. Everything ends. And Ranbir is an excellent candidate for the next generation of "ruling stars".

i was reading srk's biography by anupama chopra and apparently after he collected the award for baazigar or something (two in row), a journo who was sitting next to him asked "so...2 in a row...u'll prolly be the next dilip saab"...and srk was like "dunt you worry...i'll even break his record" 😆...

i seriously dunt get whts soo wrong abt aiming high...especially if ur a worthy candidate...👍🏼
