Kat/sharmilla history repeating itself!! - Page 2

I'm looking at the nominations from 1994 FF...and seems like they had a similar year with good films--Baazigar, Darr, KHKN, HHRPK, Damini, Khalnayak...

I haven't seen Sir, Gumrah, Rudaali..but I think these were also good?

Poor Katrina. 😆 If her contemporaries, seniors, AND juniors hadn't put their best foot forward, then she might have won a filler nomination at FF like last year. 😆

NK, I think they just picked one from 2 films like they did with Kareena this year.

Nikki...kat has won enough awards to last her a life time😆...jitne mil gaye bahut hain😆

In my personal opinion, Katrina had one of her strongest and meatiest roles in JTHJ, for whats its worth.

Not strong enough to get a Filmfare nom, still dont know how she got that for Raajneeti and MBKD. The competition is tough this year, its sad that between Balan (Kahaani), PC (Barfi), Sri Devi (EV), two of these leading ladies will be leaving disappointed after such power packed performances.

Meera was a character that was hard to understand and relate too, but it was definitely Katrina's first role in years that actually required acting. There were plenty of scenes in the film where actual acting was required...well emoting with eyes. It's another story Katrina couldn't manage it properly. A better actress would have lifted some scenes to a completely different level.

Now getting on topic comparing Juhi to Kat is silly..and still dont to date get whats so great on being a yash raj heroine but ok i guess its a big deal to some !! But being a poor one is an insult and getting snubbed even worse!!

She was in 2 of the top hits if that year so they went with better performance . Same with Kat this year but I guess she couldn't cut the mustard in either film
