But Salman doesnt believe in awards. So why celebrate it? Is it because of desperation that someone gave him some award?
Arbaaz: Salman doesn't care about awards

Salman Khan makes news for everything he does. Well, this time it's strictly work. Yes, for the first time in twenty-two years of his career, Salman won the 'Best Actor' award at a recent awards ceremony.
While Sallu didn't go to receive his award, and didn't flaunt it either, his brother and producer, Arbaaz, is gung-ho about his bhai's achievement. When zoOm spoke to him about it, he proudly said, "I can't believe that 22 years have passed and so many films and award ceremonies have gone by, and this is the first time Salman has won the 'Best Actor' award.
He's reached a stage where he doesn't care as much about awards. Infact, when I told him that he was nominated and would possibly win, he simply said, 'Good, great. If I win you can go and collect it on my behalf'.But for me it's a sense of achievement that bhai won for my film. Salman enjoys performing at awards and he tells me, 'If they call me to perform, I will go. Agar award milega, toh theek hai. Nahin milega toh bhi theek hai'. There are some actors who work only for awards.
There's a trend in Hollywood that characters with a disability on-screen are applauded. Likewise, in Bollywood this trend is growing that roles with disability are appreciated. But talent is required even to pull off commercial movies and roles successfully." Yes, talent and a bit of dabangg attitude, too. What say, Sallu?
