Didn't quite like the film. Never really saw what was so special in the movie.

Except the songs. They were amazing😃

I loved Dil Se, Kiran!

I think Dil Se had one of SRK and Manisha' finest performances. I wish it had done better, I thought it had a decent storyline with good direction, acting, music etc.

YAY You liked it star. I definitely think it's one of the best films SRK has done in his career. Manisha was simply fab. I really loved her. I was just watching it and I fell in love again with this movie!

I loved the movie...it was refreshing to see SRK in another type of role apart from the raj & Rahul's he does

It was a unique story which I loved...plus I totally dig his chemistry with Manisha...they had soo much passion 😳

Manisha was great in it a very subdued performance from her
SRK was just too adorable in the beginning when he talked soo much yap yap 😆
But the transformations that his character goes through we're greatly acted by him

Last scene of them hugging when she has bomb wrapped around her...is my favourite one...sad but a love that has intensity & passion 😃

The songs were another feather in the cap as well ...also the cinematography...they chose some beautiful locations for the songs

Agreed. I loved the last scene. It was so intense and passionate as you mentioned. They both were amazing in that scene. I seriously think movie deserved more than what it got. Some of SRK's amazing movies don't get what they deserve to which is very sad and crap like Ra one becomes a hit!:( Songs in this movie are so beautiful. <3

i was a kid and saw it india in the theater and when chaiya chaiya song came on i was dancing lol ...😆😆

@Kiran PZ looked so cute in the movie, their scenes were so cute, and liked how innocently she asked him whether he had ever had sex(i was young so was a akward moment) and the song jiya jale they both looked so hot together..and when saw it again as a teenager enjoyed it more..too bad it didnt click in india ...but nonetheless was a good watch and unusual story !!

I think I can easily call it one of my favorite performances by SRK. I don't know if it's just me..but that entire dark, mysterious aspect about the film just made it more worthwhile for me.

It had its weaknesses but it looks like a classic now (considering what trash films we're subjected to nowadays). Music is its soul. It'd be dead without Rahman's music.

I wish they'd concentrated more on Manisha-SRK. Preity and stuff revolving around her should've been kept minimum.

Actors were good in it but not at their best (though in SRK's case I prefer Dil Se infinitely over KKHH as a performance).

At several moments the film tests viewers' patience. Mani Ratnam went overboard in creating mystery around Manisha's character. You wonder what's going on. But later it seems fine as pieces join together towards the end. Final end was kind of abrupt.

Film doesn't hold interest throughout. Even at end leaves you with a feeling of something amiss.

P.S. - What's with these old films' threads? Re-living good old days? 😊
