Bipasha Basu refuses to wear skirt!

No, she wasn't asked to pose nude, merely to wear a skirt for her role as an executive in director Madhur Bhandakar's new film.

Still, ''Bips,'' as she's known in Bollywood, wanted nothing to do with it.

''Madhur wanted me to wear something else. But I was adamant - no taking off my pants,'' Basu told the Times of India newspaper in an interview published on Wednesday.

''And when Madhur saw the final outfit he also gave in,'' she said.

Basu, who is currently dating Bollywood heartthrob John Abraham, has starred in more than 22 movies since she entered the movie industry five years ago. Her recent films include the comedies ''No Entry'' and ''Phir Hera Pheri,'' or ''Some More Hustling.''
