This is something I always wondered.

What actually defines Star Power? How would we know which Star has more star power than other stars? How can we jump to conclusions that Salman has more starpower than SRK/Aamir, Kat has more star power than Bebo/Vidya? Is it the opening of that certain star's film or overall business?

Star Power = Star's film release day means celebration day of fans.

Star Power = Record breaking numbers on Box Office.

Star Power = Crazy amount of hype for a film.

Star Power = When a star is most discussed thing about the film after it's release

Star Power = Applauses and intense amount of noises when the star makes an entry.

Star Power = Fans treating stars as god by putting garland on posters.

Star Power = People dancing and singing their way to cinema and out.

Star Power = MILLIONS OF FANS

I don't wanna argue this topic. But it's clear that Salman is way ahead SRK/Akshay/Aamir at this stage. As for Kat she hasn't proved that a film worked on her shoulder till date.

i think, starpower is when not only star can draw an audience but make scripts that are ok into ATBBs!! Shows that person has a special charisma !! a star who people when the star movie opens place garlsnds and treat the star as immortal ...and that star is none other than..,,dabangg Salman Khan😊👏

'Star Power' is the ability to bring added value to a production. It has nothing to do with talent. (I am NOT saying that if you are a star implies you are not a good actor, just that there is no correlation between the clout one holds and the talent one has-a person could be a fab actor and a huge star or be a horrible actor but still have immense star power!)
