Well, the first half of 2006 has passed and we listened to wonderful and extra-ordinary music this year!!! 👏

But what's your favorite song and why?

hmmm...I like lots of songs. There is Ya Ali, Chand Sifarish, and Tu Hi Meri Shab Hai. But I liked Ya Ali because it's different and very soulful..The music just draws you into the circle of events. I watched Gangster just because of the Ya Ali song. I have been able to pick one, but that's because I think that's a notch above the rest. And Zubeen did great with it too (though not nearly as good as Sharib and Banjyotsna)...As far as a film which only had hit songs, I could think of Gangster, Fanaa (maybe)and Humko Deewana Kar gaye (another maybe)...I think also Aksar had all hit songs and Bunty aur Babli, but those weren't released in 2006. Ya Ali touched me the most for obvius reasons, written above.A Bollywood album I'm waiting for...hmm..not really. I don't really wait for Bollywood albums..I'm waiting for Shamir Tandon's private album to hear Sharib and Banjyotsna sing, and also for Ujjaini an Aishwarya's album so that I can compare and say how bad U n A were...okay..that's it for me...wow..I'm also the first reply..i thought there would be tons of posts on this thread.

But what's your favorite song and why? Where's the party tonight(KANK), Ya Ali (Gangster) and Mitwa (KANK) cause KANK has great music and wonderful and touching lyrics and ya ali has fab music that makes u listen to these songs over and over again...

Are you able to pick just one as there have been sooo many hits? Nope...that is so impossible considering the great songs that we got to hear this year...i had a hard time just narrowing it down to a few 😆

Is there any particular film which contained hit songs only? I loved all the songs frm KANK, Gangster, Rang de basanti and Fanaa...

Which song(s) touched you the most and why? It has to Mitwa, Tumhi dekho naa (never heard such a deep and touchy songs), roobaroo (catchy music), tere haath me (emotional and sweet), ya ali n tu hi meri shaab hai (great music), zara jhoom jhoom(tom dick and harry) and ashaki me teri(36 china town) and many many more

Kank songs..cuz they were so sweet and ppl could relate with atleast one of them

Also fanaa and gangster which had such good lyrics and were so beautiful to listen to!

~My most favortie song this year has to be Ya Ali...i cant stop listening to that song...itz really good and itz soo soothing

~No...i luved Ya Ali, Chand Sifarish, Dil Na Diya, Mitwa and many more other ones

~ actually for me i liked almost all the songs from Aksar, 36 Chinatown, Fanna and Krrish

~ I think itz Ya Ali...i dont know why buh whenever i listen to that song it gives me a good feeling and itz really relaxing

~ Well i am waiting for Dhoom 2...hope it creates the same dhamal as the music of Dhoom did

are All the songs in gangstar,all the songs in fanaa, and my all time favorite songs is Tere Liye and Aisa Des Hai Mera form veer-Zaara

Mere Haath mein - Fanaa and Tere Liye - Veer-Zaara bcuz i love love songs and these songs make me feel relaxed

My favorite songs were all the ones from Fanaa and Krrish...I loved the past Johar movies' music, but not KANK- too Americanized for me.

Even though I dont like the KANK music- it and Fanaa have contained the most hit songs so far this year.

I really love the Fanaa and Krrish because its so sweet- the songs in Fanaa are so romantic and touching. The Krrish music is sweet and playful- more lighthearted than Fanaa. So they balance each other out.

But what's your favorite song and why? My favorite song currently is Afsana Banake from Dil Diya Hai, I have become a fan of Himesh's music. It seems the latest song he sings for a film, instantly becomes my favorite!! Lolz!!

Are you able to pick just one as there have been sooo many hits? No, it is not easy to pick just one, as I have lots of songs I have liked from just this year alone, and the year isn't even finished yet!

Is there any particular film which contained hit songs only? Hmm, three films in which I loved all the songs was Humko Deewana Kar Gaye, Gangster, and Aksar. All three of those films, had hit songs! I can't think of one that didn't become popular or wasn't a hit with the audience!

Which song(s) touched you the most and why? Hmm, I loved Tu Hi Mere Shaab Hai and Tum Saanson Mein the lyrics are beautiful and so is the picturization of the songs in the film! Also I love the title song from Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna, again the lyrics are great!

Is there any album (bollywood) you're waiting for?? Right now, I am currently awaiting the release of Dil Diya Hai, Babul, Dhoom 2 ,Salaam E Ishq, and also Don.

Is there any particular film which contained hit songs only?hmm...I dont think so...I like almost all the songs frm KANK, but I dint like " Where is the party 2nit..." much...nd also d farewell trance...I like mst of the songs of fanaa too but I didnt like "des rangeela..."

Which song(s) touched you the most and why? again "tumhi dekho na..." & "tumko bhi..." doesnt get tired of hearing both the songs...jst fantastic ...Both the songs are par excellence... I dont knw hw many times I have heard dos songs... superb!!!

Is there any album (bollywood) you're waiting for?? DON, I can hear Uditji's voice singing the amazing song...and Uditji singin 4 SRK aftr a gap of couple of months...or might b aftr a yr...
