Salman Khan's Dabangg 2 Creates Highest Monday Box Office Record

After having a pretty good opening weekend at the domestic box office, Dabangg 2 held up pretty well on its 1st Monday as well. The Salman Khan starrer made about 13 Crores nett on Monday taking the domestic box office total of the movie to 76.6 Crores.

The collections on Monday are the highest yet collections by any movie on a non-holiday Monday. The previous record was held by Dabangg with 10.75 Crores. It seems Salman is only competing with himself now-a-days. Also, Ek Tha Tiger with 19 Crores is the highest Monday grosser but the reason was a National Holiday,i.e. Eid.
