The two were recently a part of a major controversy with the release of their movies, "Jab Tak Hai Jaan" and "Son of Sardaar." Devgn had irked Khan by filing a complaint with the Competition Commission of India (CCI) alleging that the makers of "Jab Tak Hai Jaan" have used their influence and blocked the release of his film in certain theaters.
The tussle continued by both parties remaining firm on their ground. Battle lines were drawn and things heated up when Devgn's wife and one of Yash Raj Films leading ladies, Kajol was not invited for the premiere of "Jab Tak Hai Jaan."
However, both movies made it to the screens Nov. 13 and reportedly did great business.
The latest rumor to make headlines is that Ajay Devgn and Shahrukh Khan will now be seen together in Rohit Shetty's "Chennai Express." Apparently, Ajay Devgn took up the role because of his friend, Rohit Shetty. It's also being speculated that Devgn will have a prominent role in the movie.
While the two may have decided to let bygones be bygones, it will be interesting to see how Salman Khan reacts to this new turn of event?
During the tussle between "Jab Tak Hai Jaan" and "Son of Sardaar," good friend Salman had stepped in favor of Ajay Devgn, to an extent of tweeting, "Pathan se panga mat lena. Sorry yaar, Diwali bekaar, without Son of Sardaar." (Don't mess with my friend.)
