=>On 28 September 2002, Khan was arrested for rash and negligent driving. His car had run into a bakery in Mumbai; one person who was sleeping on the pavement outside the bakery died and three others were injured in the mishap
=>On 17 February 2006, Khan was sentenced to one year in prison for hunting the Chinkara, an endangered species.
=>On 10 April 2006, he was handed a five year jail term and remanded to Jodhpur jail until 13 April when he was granted bail.
=>few other achievements:
i)Black Buck Case
ii)KAT Bday party fiasco
iii)Vivek Oberoi romance call

iv)Fights with John,Shahid ,Aish Brother,alleged blackmail and life threat to victims of car accident to withdraw the case.

6)As cinema halls were mostly deserted during his movies, the only way Salman interacted with his fan following was thru Jail Yatra[His only innovation during those 9 years].

Even worse part is that the only Hit was given during 10th year[2009],if we take 9 years from 2000-2008, Salman has zero solo Hits, 13 flops and disasters , and criminal cases of drunk driving ,running car over ppl and killing animals. for which he got 5 year jail in 2006 but thanks to our judiciary he got bail and is still roaming free.

I hope those killed animals and accident victims get justice soon.

On being hugged and kissed by a fan outside Anil Kapoor's residence, Salman slapped him. He then even had the footage of the incident deleted. A blow-by-blow account of the raadagiri...

After taking potshots at Sanjay Leela Bhansali for Guzaarish, Salman Khan has done it again. On Thursday night, outside Anil Kapoor's Juhu residence, Salman slapped a man who kissed him.

An eyewitness told "The incident happened moments after Salman arrived at Anil Kapoor's birthday bash. Just a few moments before this, Anil had escorted Salman's father, Salim Khan, into the party. Salman was alighting from his car when all of a sudden a man, who appeared to be in his mid-20s and called himself Ajay, rushed towards him, hugged him and then kissed him."
Added the eyewitness, "It seems Salman was in very high spirits. Without batting an eyelid, Salman slapped Ajay."

Ajay, who had least expected this, apparently went flying to one corner; quite like Sunny Deol Sallu too can boast of a dhaai kilo ka haath. What followed this was even more shocking.

Zoom TV had managed to take grabs of Salman's misdemeanor. When the actor turned around and saw this, he got upset. Immediately, two of Salman's security guards came up and asked that this footage be deleted. Said the eyewitness, "Woh dadagiri karne lage. 'Chal delete kar, chal jaldi delete kar,' they said."

Attempts were made to salvage the footage, but the bouncers were adamant. At this point, Salman too stepped in to request that the footage be erased.

At this point, Anil came rushing out (Did Salman call him?). "Anil and Salim were wondering why Salman was taking so long to come, as they had already spotted Sallu's car being parked outside the bungalow. Sensing the commotion, Anil went up to Salman Khan; he made a similar request regarding the footage," revealed the witness.

Defending Salman, another witness said, "The guy who hugged and kissed Salman was very aggressive. This is not the way to greet a star. You can't get so close to them and make them this uncomfortable. Anybody else in Salman's position would have done the same thing."

Moments after the footage was deleted, the stars went into the house. The party, which saw bigwigs like Karan Johar, Boney Kapoor and Rani Mukerji, to name a few, continued till the small hours. Despite several attempts, both Salman and Anil remained unavailable for comment.
